Carolyn Kay Chema is a multi-media artist residing in Olympia, Washington where she teaches photography at The Evergreen State College. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Georgetown University and a M.F.A. in Photography and Digital Media from the University of Miami. Her work, while spanning media that includes photography, embroidery, weaving, painting, illustration, book-making and more, is engaged with issues of environmental consciousness, feminism and spirituality.
